How does a Tillett B5 seat fit?

We get asked this question a lot. First off, it’s a very comfortable seat, whether with pads of without. All Tillett seats were not shaped via some awesome CAD model, but were done the old-fashioned way: shape, test, adjust, repeat. You can download spec sheets on the mounting hole locations, dimensions, etc. but there isn’t such a thing as a CAD drawing for the seats. That’s what makes them comfortable: they were made for human butts, not robots’ butts. 😉

So I decided to resuscitate my prior career as a car seat model (if there were such a thing) and show you how I fit in them. I’m 5′ 10″, 162 lbs and wear a 31-32″ waist, depending on how much of a skinny jeans look I’m going for. I would say I’m an average to athletic build – definitely not thin/skinny. Here are some pics to illustrate.

Snug, but definitely room for someone larger as well.
